It's the first time I've come across this so please excuse my ignorance.
I'm building a Proclaimer with some Oddy 41 Thermals on it and and is it common to have to cut a small amount off the top of the forks to help them fit better or is this a big no no? I can't get the stem to grip everything and push it all down enough when I tighten everything up because it needs another spacer but if I put anymore spacers on it'll be like riding a fooking Chopper. Or is there any way of spacing the top end with some big washers or summat?
Sorry if I sound thick but as I say it's the first time I've had this problem.
Ahy help appreciated fellas.

Try avoiding cutting the steerer tube, add more spacers under the stem, also i use these on all stems

Your call really bud. Chop the steerer down if you like, or bang a spacer up on top. No problemo either way :)
