colony stuff rules!  that's a dam good price for a real nice bike!   :daumenhoch:
Title: Re: 350 to spend
Post by: darkersomeday on April 24, 2008, 05:50 PM
the top tube of the frame is measured from the centre of the headtube to the centre of the seat tube,

here its shown as Top Tube (c-c)

it denotes how long the front end of the bike will feel and sort of equates to how long your back is,

hope that helps :daumenhoch:

I've just spent 350 on a new school ride Mirraco blend 2,
and I think it's really well equipt for the money,
although some of the other bikes might be a bit lighter do you think weight or strength is more important ?

Post by: rodslovechild on April 29, 2008, 01:31 PM
yes mate i got it monday as promised! ive built it up and jus rode to shops etc, feels a lot lot different to my old school bikes, like harder to pull up the front and that, jus gonna keep riding it every day to get used to it for creation where i can make a fool of myself  :LolLolLolLol:
Title: Re: 350 to spend
Post by: darkersomeday on April 29, 2008, 01:46 PM
for creation where i can make a fool of myself  :LolLolLolLol:

 no such thing dude :daumenhoch:

it might feel a bit harder to pull up at first, the longer tt will take a little getting used to but you'll progress quicker and your back'll thank you for it ;)
the trade off is also that the shorter rear end will let you pull up and manual easier in time too :daumenhoch:

what did you go for badass black or clean white?
lets have some pics of this fooker eh???

stevie still owes me a "hand shandy" for the props :LolLolLolLol:
Title: Re: 350 to spend
Post by: pickle on April 29, 2008, 01:52 PM
yeah bang up some piccies  :daumenhoch:

do you have the bars coming back a bit (normally inline with the line of the forks) as this will make it easier.......soory i just have a morbid fear that you've got the bars set at OS postition whi makes for a very skitish front end
Title: Re: 350 to spend
Post by: rodslovechild on April 29, 2008, 01:57 PM
they are bang in line with the forks mate,, checked out the old fools pics and copied theirs  :LolLolLolLol:
