Not too shaw where i should have posted this, well anyway i am looking for some shin and knee pads needed within the next two weeks. I have looked around on various sites and found one pair of knee pads i like but they are quite expensive, conspiracy £44.00 but they look good. Another site had them for about £26.00 but unfortunatly out of stock and another pair i liked were out of stock.
Any ideas on what is good and who has them, that should be in stock?
Just recieved a jimmy levan t.shirt today from Alans damn they deliver quick!
Nice shirt even if its a tad large. :) Also looking at Metal barends and metal seat. Any site that would have the barends, seat and pads would be great then i could do a bulk order.
thanks xo

Creamy wore my Veggie Knee and Veggie Shin pads at Coppull.
He fell off a couple of times and tore his jeans to shreds.
Apart from sleeping all the way home, he only complained that his shoulder hurt a few days after.
So if 19 Stone of Out-Of-Shape OS Racer isn't proof enough that these pads work then I dont know what is!!! :daumenhoch:

well my legs dont look too pretty with scars and cuts all over them and bruises from kick boxing.

Lola, give Jeff a kick to his nether's and then I'd like to see if jeff would've preferred pads.
Anyway, mine are just for show!!!
The more expensive and bling pad the better.
I only ride at 1.35 mph crusing speed.
Any faster and the ladies can't check out ma ride!!! :daumenhoch:

bicycle union knee pads are the best pads
and dont get 661 shhins there rubbish

I use 661 knee pads they're the chicken wing type things... like a sock you pull on with a velcro strap.
I tried about 4 or 5 sets on in the shop and these where the best for me personally in terms of the comfort/movement/protection compromise.
I also have some 661 hard cap things with big rivets and a hard plastic coating, be great to slam hard in them but I find them a bit uncomfortable.
Shin pads I have some TSG ones I got off Fuzzy Nod 2nd again very comfortable and useable.. would recommend them to anyone.
In my opinion untill you've found what you want stay clear of buying online.... you'll end up with ill fitting equipment if you're not carefull.
Also- ignore places that have stuff advertised cheaper than else where and have none instock... anyone can advertise suff for free or cheaply if its not available- just a ploy to get you in the door or on the site.
