Title: Body Armour Needed! Any Suggestions
Post by: moley on May 07, 2008, 10:21 AM
After my mates fall last night

and

The fact that I only race at 90% because I'm scared of crashing.

I have decided to buy some body armour.

All in one type deal.

Back, Shoulder, Chest, Elbow and Wrist.

Something with plenty of support and padding.

It should build my confidence so I can try harder and start working up to jumping some jumps rather than just rolling through them.

Could you please reply with some suggestions preferably about some kit that you use etc, etc.

Cost isn't too much of an issue!!

Thanks!!!  :daumenhoch:

:) Most of the Dainese  Pressure Suit stuff is pretty good, though will make you look like a Power Ranger gone wrong. Also try the 661 Assault stuff.Try any top MTB stores rather than BMX shops.

Yep - Brand X!

Better than a lot of kit that's twice the price.

the diannse suits are good but their knee/shins are shite.they move on 1st impact.

troy lee combats or raceface knee shins are best

Brand X all the way mate.

Cheap as chips and does exactly the same job as suits twice the price.

Thanks lads.

I'd never even thought of Brand X before because I thought they'd be crap!!!

It had 83 reviews at chainreaction.  All of them good!!!

Its now bought!!!

Hopefully it fits me when it arrives.

It might get it debut at Creation where I will take a few falls.

It not a possiblity, its a definite!!!!   :daumenhoch:
