Title: Any good powder coaters in the Bristol area?
Post by: Skyway Nick on May 13, 2008, 04:45 PM
Get in! Found a TA frame and forks in the Trade it yesterday - the guy only wanted £160 for it!

It looks like it was originally a chrome frame but some donut's done an awful 'paint job' on it. - Whats the quickest way of getting all of the paint off by the way? I've seen a thread on here also that says chrome can be sand blasted off - is this true?

So does anyone know of any good powder coaters in the Bristol area plus is there a particular colour white that TA's are?

Any info would be great.

Your best bet is to post it to SuperbikeDan.  You won't get a better job done anywhere else and you'll know it will be taken care off properly.

If getting a bike powdered's your plan,
No question - there is only one man.
You'll pay more for it from a spraycan,
So stop fookin about, and send it to SuperBikeDan

As Scott says, I use RPA in Bristol and they are superb, never had a problem with their work.  They do all the prep work also which is included in the price (£45 for frame and forks).  They have about 1 week turnaround also.
