Post by: JT71 on May 13, 2008, 08:42 PM
this is now going to be my new school ride, you can tell it's new school cos it's all black
has only a back brake and the rear rim is chrome.

 :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

Colony Endeavor
Frame
Forks
Bars
28t Black chain ring
Colony pivotal seat
Pivotal seat post

no brand headset
snafu stem
carbon fibre spacers
mid bb
cranks
shimano Dx pedals

Odyssey Hazard light cassette rear with 11t cog (will be changed for 10t)
Alex front rim, don;t know about the hub, got sealed bearings though.
Bell tubes from asda
Bell Kevlar Freestyle 20 x 1.9 tyres, also from spasda, they are actaully made by cheng shin, I'll give em a go before getting something a bit more trendy.
Bell Gold chain, again spasda

Tektro rear brake (will get something really nice later)
Dia Compe Tech 77 lever
Fly brake bridge

Odyssey Aaron Ross Grips which look short as I've taken some green bar ends off, will fit some black bar ends soon.

also took some of the stickers off, seemed to have to many on it.

cool

does the stem clear the toptube ? id put a 5mm spacer in . i had a cable get trapped between my toptube and redneck years ago , ive now got a scratched redneck  >:(

ride it with the spacers for a while and decide how high you want it , would look clean cut though

36/13 or 28/10 is standardish

im not sure what the thread is but how long is the bolt ? if its quite long loosen it off 5mm and tap with a mallet , should shift the axle along and loosen the arm

the cranks are just what ever comes on the complete bike, got em from stevie B, the bike will be going as a whole, I only got the frame to use up spare parts,
well when i say spare, i mean parts left over when i got nicer bits for my Fly.

Use the spacers above and below and shift around until you get the right height for you. IMO try and keep the red sprocket or swap it for a bigger red one, a bit of colour looks good. (Bar ends Trev will be along soon)

well, it ended up as putting some nice bits on, and now it's my keeper. fly is up for grabs but I'm waiting to see if steve beech ta wants it, and i know you might be worried about work too. it's cheap if you want 2nd dib dobs.
