Title: S&m dirtbike (finished)
Post by: firebird4130 on May 16, 2008, 09:36 PM
This is my ~Dirtbike I've just finished setting up and spraying, I made it as similar to the type of set up I rode in the 90's as I could not just for looks but coz I've never found a bike I like as much since so why change anything. The only real difference is I had a gt megabyte on the front and logo on the back. I'm gonna ride this bike, so will continue stockpiling replacement parts. All I need now is the sticker set

Thats all there  :daumenhoch:

Im liking the white pitchfork decals. Make a nice change from the red.
The frame colour is nice to ... MINT!

I was never a fan of profiles Over machined chainrings, but other than that, I cant fault it.  ;)

I've heard the genuine padsets have been going for £80!!
I never had white fork decals before I found these forks, why the white?

S&M pads do go for silly money sometimes, but not always. The way of Ebay.

They first did those old Pitchfork decals in red, then also in white and green later on.

could you push the seatclamp up a bit so it covers the top of the frame? :LolLolLolLol:

the green does look light, has she been painted?
i've never seen that shade on a s&m, theyre always darker ???

Thanks again for the frame craig (woody allen bars), yeah the frame is a gem mate, I haven't properly ridden it yet but it's set up sweet, when you lift the bike up by the seat and bounce it on the back wheel it just thuds like when you bounce a ball, can't be doin with any rattling
