Big props to TK, Justin and Terry and their band of helpers for yet another top day of fun at Hersden. Lots of smiling faces. Hope the Bexhill lads who went down in the Final aren't too bad though I know they both went to hospital on their way home. Best bit of the day had to be my James bundling Sam Wonfor over the second berm in the cruiser final. Just a shame he slipped his pedals shortly afterwards. And I told Sonic there's an established right to last place in any race I'm in!! Humps
PS: I've disappeared from the points!! FOUL!!

thanks all at Hersden for a great gay, Special thanks to Zippy for the lend of the helmet to Moe Lewis and Humps for the lend of the bikes, afetr mine broke...... with-out these guys i would not have been able to race ... or break dance/face plant in the final.
had an absolute brilliant day, great to see and talk to some faces from the past, and some guys i don't think i've met before. :4_17_5:
Hope the two guys from the Maters are ok, was having a good crack with them during practise. :idiot2:
Roll on the next meeting :smitten:
thanks again.

YEEEEEEESSSSSS I'M FINALY LEADING SOMETHING :4_17_5: did i mention that i did my back in doing gate practice in the morning ::)
-
>:( I know they say life begins at 40, but I didn't think that included BMX careers. Lee you're getting too bloody fast this year!!!
I loved Ratty's quote for those that missed it when James Humps stood on the podium to get his medal. " David Glendower's lovechild " I think he did a much better job than I ever could though. :idiot2:
-
Hope that Moe and Adam are ok soon, certainly was a nasty spill. The suspicion is that Moe has damaged his Hand and Adam has done his collarbone. :(
GET WELL SOON LADS
TK

Mark and his missus said he was defo a collarbone as they could see it poking up :-\ hope it isn't though and both the lads recover :daumenhoch:
-
Hope its not his collar bone, know how much it hurts, did mine in 85 at poole national in practice, jumping triples, landed worse than today, then had to spend the night in a tent. Was out of racing for 6 weeks, which meant i couldn't race the monsoon hit Hernebay National, where i planed on baging a nice little stash of points.......
get well soon lads .....
-
Nice one Spillers, leading the cruisers :daumenhoch: :4_17_5:
Your riding's improved no end since the Brits last year.
-
Nice 1 Lee, think Humps Senior should get a mention
for being in 3rd. I wish this cool little track was a bit
closer to home.

Thanks for the thought Kev but fact is I've done two meetings rather than the others only doing one. Lee & James have both done two too. I've disappeared of the Old Skool chart altogether so reckon TK's creating a special "over 50's" class just for me!! :D Humps
-
Don't spoil it alan :LolLolLolLol: me you and james look good up there :4_17_5: with pro-tec ,nishiki sam,se mark and darren vickers in the mix it will be harder :) and if mr ratty gets the ok to race then this could be interesting

Good to see Darren Vickers has re-surfaced as well. Pity we haven't seen him at any regionals yet as he always gets stuck in there.
-
Mike darrens deffo of to sunny oz :-[ was really good to see him last sunday and he's gutted he hasn't had time to do regionals
