Was at the Mansfield national this weekend.
I came across a Heavy as F*ck.
Never built, not seen a headset, bb or wheel.
Immaculate cond.
Don't think it'll cost too much either.
If anyones interested, drop me a PM and I'll send you the shops details, I know the lad that works there, so a deal could be done.
You know its a RAD find.
Cheers

From memory, its chrome with the first pink "Fat" decals, right?
(the later decals were script font so the word "F**K" wasnt so obvious)
If anyone gets it and wants some matching Ditchforks, let me know :daumenhoch:

Sounds like my first ever S&M bike which I had early 95 Chrome HAF.... hmm do I really want another ???
-
i bought one of them brand new back in 95 had it for 2 weeks (was too heavy!!) swapped it for a 1 month old gt fueller which was the first 1/18th aheadset bmx frame iirc

And from what I remember, the first few Standard frames were quite a bit heavier than the HAF!
-
the haf is a sweet little frame ,had one for a short while

Ive got 3 of them! One early non stamped one, one normal stamped one, and one special short top tube custom flatland one. The flatland one was NOS till I built it up (And then found out it was an extra short one!)
-
arr yes the jap market one, very short but for flat guess it doesnt matter.

Bah, STAs were lightweight next to the OG Lengthy and Shorty!

Very true, but i've witnessed some amazing riding over the years on these 'tank' bikes! Kids these days have no idea with their featherweight nancy bikes!
Real men ride Mid!

i never got to ride a lengthy or shorty i just remember my sta frame and fork costing £500 in 1996 iirc and it being a tank, i went out on my holmes yesterday and that feels really heavy compared to my blackbike
