I sold my nos kashi 5gold suede seat, coz i wanted a crack at making my own.
So with the 5gold money banked i bought a rough Kashi MX seat for £2.
Bought a suede handbag off ecrotch for £2, carpet fitters glue £2.70 and £3 for the decals.

looks like a northern boy with small hands made that lol
looks ok but i have just drunk a lot os stella's :daumenhoch:
-
You know what they say chubs.. small hands smallll, err
anyway i'd give it a 7/10, it needs tweaking a little bit..
but the good thing with the glue is you can pull it back and then re-do it.
should be a solid 8/10 before it goes on :daumenhoch:
-
small hands smaller feet ??? lol
cool show when done then
ya got more time than me mate :LolLolLolLol:
-
Looks OK to me(had no beer :'() I have a pice of brown suede from a boot, was going to try same thing :) thanks for the tips, wasn't going to use foam.

-
well done lee, fancy doing another ;)
-
Good effort. Keep us posted with the tweaks. I'm all for restoration rather than buying NOS off the shelf :daumenhoch:
-
nice work :daumenhoch:
-
looking good lee, getting that suede tight looks difficult. got more foam if you want it ;)
-
Whens it going on ebay then Lee :2gunsfiring_v1:
-
I'm about to do this with a kashi aero - do you really need the foam though? looks to me like it loses too much of its shape when applied. I was going to filler the two holes quick and apply the suede direct.
Also - how permanent is that adhesive? sticky enough?
-
Yeah it needs the foam as the originals use it.
-
mm sober now but still not sure looks a ta wrinkly lol
can you not steam it like on american hot rod do lol
-
Get my wife to wash it, that will shrink the wrinkles out ;D
-
Ok done a few tweaks.. the rear and the nose.
much better :daumenhoch:
Got some fake suede coming.. so gonna do another.. best one goes on other up for grabs.
