Post by: Timmeh on May 27, 2008, 02:02 PM
Lower end of market, but what do radders reckon is 'a deal, a steal, the sale of the f@#kin' century' for £200?

Picked at random:

:) The FreeAgent looks to the better of the 3,I`ve seen a few Blanks and the quality is real poor, even for low-end models. For that kind of money, consider Winstanleys clearance as they often have some great deals.Often the toptubes on the lower end bikes is quite short, either 19.5 or 20.

My best advice to you mate would be to speak to Simon (Dark Diggler) as he has his own bike shop in Colne, Lancs which aint gonna be a million miles for you. Tell him your budget and see what he can fit you out with.

Hope that helps.

the GTs on chainreactioncycles don't look a bad deal either if that's your top budget?

Not sure 'budget' is the right word...I suppose 'figure for negotiation' is more what I mean...but reckon around 200Squid, I mean Quid (that's another thread!)
