Wish I could leave it like this,think it looks good, maybe just a new school influence. Unless the weather gets better and I can get in the garden to paint it I might end up racing it Sunday like this :idiot2:

Looks good like that Gary.

Is that what it was like under the paint or did you polish it?

Used Wurth gasket/sealant remover and washed off with a high pressure washer at work, then used a tool at work that has disc attacments like scouring pads, although it spins at something like upto  15000rpm.
Then for the went over it with a flexible sanding block, feels about 100/120 grit, to end up with this finish. Planning on painting it white.
