Title: First build of 2006 - Prolite Craig Campbell
Post by: stidds on January 04, 2006, 02:13 PM: I was never into freestyle bitd, but I decided to take a shot at building my very 1st freestyle bike. You will have to forgive me if I missed something.

Here are the pictures, I hope you all like it, I am really happy with the way it turned out.

I must thank Jay and Graeme (yeah that Graeme) for all their hard work with this build, cheers guys I owe you one.

Had to throw my old bumpers somewhere. Its the In-Laws garden as mine has a mini digger and a builder in at presend building me a new garage.

your right there billy there was a shop near me that sold them for £60 ff in chrome .everyone i knew that had a prolite broke them as seat tube section

What an amazing restoration job that was done by Jay and Graeme, without them both it would be a useless piece of metal. Guys I salute you.

Hope you don't mind me posting more pics sean, but those dropouts were in bad shape , they are still the original dropouts , only rebuilt , didn't do any before pics , shame ......

We have tried to get some contact with him, I was told that he`s working with Frazer now doing interior decorating, but we`ll keep trying :coolsmiley:

It still bugs me to think that this was the biggest selling bike of 85 and they just dont seem to exist any more, I know of about 5 in total and that includes Craigs on that resides at Sarfsea (that came very close to getting ram raided)

Some rare UK freestyler there old boy.

Post by: keyhole kid on January 05, 2006, 05:47 PM: i to had one of those craig campbell signatures, i won it at kos in 85 (thanks stodgy cya on sunday mate) it was that same baby blue colour,but i ended up doing something rather foolish with it, i swapped it for a aero pro burner which just proved i av no brains. excellent rebuild stidds it brings back some memories.
