Title: freestyle show webcast
Post by: andy619 on June 07, 2008, 04:59 AM: On june 7th 2008, 2pm Pacific time (10 pm UK I think) Steve Blackey will be airing a live webcast of an old school freestyle show. The riders list will include Eddie Fiola, Todd Anderson, Lee Reynolds, John Povah and myself. Tony Murray got hurt a couple of weeks ago and won't be able to ride. Woody Itson might ride, he is doing another show earlier in the day. Hopefully Blyther will make it and ride with us. Steve may start the webcast a little earlier to show some of the OS bikes in the OS-BMX bike show. There will be a lot of other former racing and freestyle pro riders there also. After the freestyle show we are going to Alvin Mullins house for and old school session on his new 7' high 24' wide half-pipe. If Steve has enough space left he will air the half-pipe session. I will try to take as many pics as I can and post asap.

here is the link to the website, I think. There are some videos of previous webcasts at various skateparks. Blyther is in one of the night time Santa Monica sessions. Mike D may be in the half-pipe vid, I haven't watched that one yet.

Post by: andy619 on June 08, 2008, 06:43 AM: I just got back home. The park rangers shut down the ramp session :tickedoff: I was gutted. Seeing all of the sweet builds and old friends was way rad, but still, I was really looking forward to hitting the quarter-pipe. I did not take many pictures because my camera was in my gearbag, which never came out until we went to Alvins house. I got two runs in before I hooked up bad and decided just drink beer talk to friends and watch the kids rip up the half-pipe. I will post what I have tomorrow, I need sleep.

Hi Dan, the big guy with the green shirt is Henry. He is an old school rider and a current rider and local bike shop owner(East County BMX).
