Title: skyway wheels

anyone bought the new skyways from vert-ego or rude wheels? whats the difference if any between the new wheels & the old wheels (if any, excluding the alloyed hub ones)

I've got a few sets. Can't see any differences, apart from the ones you've mentioned.

didnt know if the old plastic hubs were weaker or stronger than the ne ones..

Do the new ones still have the odd size axle threads (24 tpi instead of 26 tpi or vice versa can't remember which! :D)

the new ones initially crack across the hub when you ride them properly but doesnt seem to compramise strength

They've got sealed hubs now as well.  :)

theres a set of black in a shop on briggate opp cds in leeds been there while new ones with sealed bearings and they look like 14mm axles maybe get deal on em as he said theyd been there while .
