Thats a race stem, one of the last ones - much later than the Challenger stems

ahh k its pretty much identical to a challenger stem, so they must of just used that design and engraved s&m racing instead of challenger on the top

Either way they are rad classic stems  ;)

looks like an early version from the script,

mines a challenger in black and looks way later than that,

the steerer hole looks to be "1 clamp on too?

Im with JJ on this one. That stem shape has had a few names to it. First it was the Menstrual stem (which was 1" and didnt have a cut away underneath), then it was the challenger stem, and I think the S&M RACING was next. Im sure there were a couple of other names to it but I cant think of them now.
