Title: Cougar 300 seats (pricey BITD)
Post by: dannywhiteley on June 13, 2008, 11:57 AM
Ive just bought an old Pro-lite Trackmaster that has a Cougar 300 (fixed seat/post combo) seat on it.  Looking back through the sellers feedback I see he recently bought the seat (probably to complete the bike before selling) for 99p.  If its only ever been fitted to the Pro-lite to complete it, then it should still be essentially in NOS conditon (bear with me)...

Lookinf back though an old BMX Action Bike (May 1984) at the old adverts I see the same seat listed as £12.50.  This is in comparison to a Uni Turbo at £16.15, an MX Aero copy at £3.35 and even a Kashimax Aero at £7.76.

Were these seats any good, or just ovr priced BITD?

This is the seat...
