About six years ago before i got back in to BMX, i saw a Mongoose advertised in the local evening echo here in Southampton. I rang the guy and it was still for sale.
I got there and decided to buy it for £20 as ride around sort of thing, it had bright orange mags on aswell. There were no mongoose stickers on it at all do i wasn't convinced. It stayed in the garage as it was in all fairness a horrible looking thing and i couldn't bring myself to be seen on it. A few months later i decided to dump this thing.
As you've probably guessed it was one of these. :-[ :-[ :-[ It's the first one i've ever seen on here and as soon as i saw it i thought i know that bike.
In all honesty, i wish i'd kept it now, not to ride though.
Sawzell, if your reading Phil, this was the bike i was on about to you the other month when i came round. :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

When I was 11 we used to cycle 6 miles to go and LOOK in Hotshot, the only BMX shop anywhere near us. One hot summer day, after an eager day of not eating before the cycle, I kinda passed out in Hotshot. I staggered outside to get some fresh air and the last thing I remember seeing as I left the shop (with part blurred vision) was a section of bike with 2ft headtubes. I sat outside, coming round, and thinking "did I just see some extra tall BMXs or was it some kind of mad exhaustion hullicination?" :crazy2
