I have been informed biagio has some original graffites at 2k, is this now the going rate for these? If so we are not far off a 5k bmx! :buck2:
-
Biagio always charges top price for stuff & after a while that becomes the going rate, but there is no fooking way I would pay 2K for some 20 year old child's bike wheels
-
a friend of mine had to throw him out of his shop he had come to buy some bits and wanted to give no money( tight git) said he was a collector of bikes&bits that he does not sell stuff :LolLolLolLol:
-
I've only dealt with him once but NEVER EVER again!
Daz.

A set of Campy Graphites sold for £380 on the bay a couple of weeks ago.
So £2k is well off.
-
he's turned into a proper heath.
next thign you know i'll have subwax saying i told you so, like that will make HIM any less of a bell end.
-
Aye, he's a c0ck and I be more than happy saying it to his face as well!!!
-
:idiot2: 2k!
-
personally found biaggio fine to deal with.wouldnt pay 2k for a set of graffs personally but if i had a set and someone offered it i,d snatch there hand off :)
-
:wtf: 2k that's bollox, £600 max...
-
:) Def bollocks. But then again, there are those who do have either money to burn or are just mega serious collectors. There are also those who have heard that OS stuff can be valuable & just see £ signs & get greedy-remember the anniversary Redline & knob with the alleged "custom" GTs for several grand recently?
-
i think alot of people get confused with the different types of grafs, i know i used to, think the martin.mtb website has a really good pic of all the versions etc
proper gen 1 campys in very nice condition are extremely rare, and i would say mine are worth no less than £1200 (but i wouldnt sell them, not even for £2k.) i actually think Biagios are not only the proper 1st campy version, but also near nos condition, so 2k is prob about right.
The ones that sold recently from memory are 2nd gen sealed, and go for only, £500-£700, i've got a pair of these on my gen 1, and lov em also :smitten:
yes, dear, but they were £200 in 1984, so add in inflation, bit of the rararity value, and they seem quite good value at anything less than £500
just found the link for the cheap ones

i have no reason to not believe my informant, and it seems from these replies, biagio has probably got a set for 2k, though it also seems no one would buy a set off him even if they were 2p :-\

Did I ever say that to you? You think that watching a man's life crumble around him is a pleasing sight?
If you think I am a bell-end, I'll accept that as one of the things in life I cannot change. I am sorry you feel that way though.

Again, what have I done to you to make you so angry with me?
