Title: building my mid schooler for creation
Post by: jT Racing on June 14, 2008, 05:40 PM
i picked up a custom made mid school frame when i was living in the netherlands. I've never done anything with it. it's a wierd looking thing, intergrated seatclamp, oversized top and down tubes, 20.5" top tube, 1" threaded. it's made by sjappie bikes. they only made them for dutch riders and i only bought it because it had LG's and a pro neck on it. it is 14mm axel though. I'll make some pics later. Should be alright for a wobble in birmingham. bought some rims off joe, got enough other bits to build it up. Fook knows about the geometry of it, but i'll make some measurements, the guy i got it off was as tall as fook, about 6'4" and it was built especially for him. I just hope it's not too big. :LolLolLolLol: am i better with a gyro? wasn't gonna bother. do i need a front brake? any advice on building a sound machine is welcome :)

I like your cellar, is it soundproof ?

That frame looks good for ramp blasting, build it nice and heavy and get some 100psi tyres on it, it'll be unstoppable  :LolLolLolLol:

it's very light, fooking seatpost is stuck though. it's coming to work with me in the morning and it's gonna get liberated from it's seatmast prison. i need a new ad990, i've managed to lose most of this one :-[ got bars, wheels are on the way, gonna run 401's on it, custom paint job(to be arranged the morrow) nice thick dropout forks, not sure what to do for a front brake yet, red dx's for pedals. got some comfey primo grips i've had around a while. just need to get a new post and seat. still undecided over the stem. got 2 weeks to get it done :-\
