Title: hutch trickstar in pink pearl.

just finished putting it together for torkertony, i did the ukai rims in pink pearl to match the frame and forks, just got to put on the hutch beartraps and decals that are coming from america, we were like laural and hardy putting this together!

Post by: stidds on June 19, 2008, 11:14 PM: Now I really do like that colour, but I think that you should stay away from putting pink parts on it i.e. the cables, grips and seat and stick to white parts only as the pink parts don't match at all and look strange (although it could be the light).

Apart from that it looks ace.

What decals would you go for? White or chrome?

Post by: stidds on June 20, 2008, 11:29 AM: If I changed the cables/grips/seat to white, I would then go for chrome decals as they will tie in the cranks/chainring/spokes/hubs on the lower portion of the bike.

Post by: subwax on June 20, 2008, 02:01 PM: He had 6 sets of new Hutch prototype pedals given away at Rockford. They were really good - too good, if you see what I mean. The main difference was that instead of 4 splines n the body, it had 8. Did wonder how easy it would be to grind 4 off and then sell on as old school, but John said it was too difficult to do. I hope so.

From what I understood, there are plans for the whole Hutch range to be redone again. Judges, Trickstars, Aerospeeds, the lot. That in itself isnt a major problem, it is how they distinguish the new from the old. We all know there are problems with Aerospeed repro's at the moment - I hope this doesnt make it worse.

Time will tell, I guess.

Post by: meticulous on June 20, 2008, 06:35 PM: white decals are already on, i will get a picture tomorrow, forgot to mention i also painted bottom bracket and seat lamp, i know what you mean about grips and seat, maybe i should spray them, errr... maybe not!

Sold my Pink TS..................to 'Torker Tony' I think,....he must have at least 3 now, unless he re-did my old one ???
