Following on from a number of recent threads wondering about the demise in numbers in the OSS this year, a number of us are wondering how many we can get to appear for a warm up to the hugley awaited MK08 Rad Bash.
So come on put up or shut up - lets get a decent show of hands who will be there.
I obviously WILL be there

p.s there is a certain lady member of the OS (lets call her the queen if you like) who is threatening to make a come back for the regional even if its just a trundle - its enough to get certain members quivering when the term 'pick a berm boys' is mentioned..... :knuppel2:
So come on boys dont leave it to the rad bash to realise that you will need to pedal the entire course to be competitive - come 'practice' and if you are nice to me I promise not to fall off in front off you... (to anyone who saw my Himalayas assault at the weekend)

I will be there. I love the track at MK. If anyone is thinking about racing for the first time, this is the perfect track to have a go

After his run on Sunday at Hayes on his cruiser he's gagging for some OS action against the old men, even if you're all old enough to be his father. Be afraid, be very afraid!! ;D Humps

a couple of stupid newbie questions for this.......i'm guessing i don't need a licence? i will obviously be wearing a full face helmet.....but what about numbers on my plate? can i just use my old plate with 70 on it? or do i get given a number for the day? stupid questions i know but i've only raced at MK last year for the first and only time!

Im well tempted to come to this, but I just checked and my wife is working that day. I might come with my boys but I wouldnt be able to race. Id just come to catch up with the OS crew, and watch some track action.

pick a number any number as long as its not being used its fine. Muffski has already used 70 this year so you will need another - look at moley's website for the full list of previous riders and you can pick something form there.
no licence, full face and long sleeves/trousers etc
and you are away.

i'll have my lad with me too, he's nearly 13 so he can always hang around with him while you race? he's not a bad influence honest ;)

Thanks for the offer. My boys are coming up to 4 and 5. I think if I come I will bring a bike for a roll round but I cant see me having time to actually race. I will see how things go.

Haha, Im not sure about focus. I cant do that when Im on my own. I just meant that its not really fair to drag them to a race and then leave them (with other people) while Im of racing most of the time. I would like to come anyway. Hopefully they will enjoy it too.

Funny you say that. My youngest had a few laps of the garden tonight without stabilisers for the first time (he actually hasnt had them on for a while but I took the pedals off as well). He did great but I dont think he is ready for a BMX track quite yet. I think it would be better to go with their bikes on a non race day as well, at least for the first time.

Definately got the all clear for 'Her in doors' for this one! and my lad is well excited about coming along.......ffs even the future Mrs Pickle is thinking of coming!! :shocked:

I will defo be coming to MK as need to put the zipster over the top of a berm :daumenhoch:
But just a thought who's idea was it to have a regional race at MK the same day as the British GP. It's going to be chaos getting there and getting home :crazy2:

I might bring the old school ride along, it badly needs an outing. But really depends on whether they can give me enough time to recover between races - at BADBMX I only had 2 moto's between my cruiser and old school races!

so what time do I need to be there to register for the OS races? or can i pre register so i don't have to be there at the crack of doom? also what sort of time does the racing start?

You don't have to be there early,registration at meetings usually open at 9:30 am till 11:30 :daumenhoch:
