Title: MX 1000 White
Post by: virtualmeuk on June 24, 2008, 02:32 PM
Does anyone know if MX1000 brakes in white are anodized (If there is such a thing) painted or powder coated?

Cheers
Steve

Yep, deffo painted. Appears to be enamel type paint, like white goods.

I would go with PlastiKote. That would work well.

I touched a used set up with Humbrol enamel and they look pretty mint now..

BTW can black ones (or ones that aren't black but could be...) be stove enamelled without taking quick release off?
