He won a bath set in the raffle at Hartlepool- a bath mat, a toilet seat cover and a loo-roll cosy, all in a lovely cerise colour. We're made up for him. :4_17_5:

I told you that you'd end up winning it :daumenhoch: well done mate :daumenhoch: although it looked like john was ready to pounce on ya,nice one bof.
-
Bof was da man at Hartlepool. It's no joke beating Jonny S and Jeremy Hayes (Jez was 30+ British Champ in 2006).
Madd Dogg Russ deserves a mention as well making the A-final at his first national this season.
-
Here is Bof's Final from a different point of view.
http://www.ossbmxracing.co.uk/Reports/08NationalHartlepool/Bof-Final.divx.avi
Filesize is 13.3MB
Right-Click the Above link and 'Save As' to download to your PC.
That way you'll be able to enjoy all things Bof without the delay of downloading it each time.
I'm still working on how to convert my HD Video so expect a far superior quality version (If I ever figure it out, that is)
Enjoy!! :daumenhoch:
-
This is a HD version of Bof's Final
WARNING!!! It is a bit power hungry. Its 1920x1080 resolution in 25fps in MP4 format.
On my older PC (quite old) it was extremely jerky and barely ran at all and that was in a small window.
On my new PC it is smooth at full screen.
Filesize is 41.66MB
And you will probably need quicktime to run it.
Right-Click the link below and 'Save As' to download to your PC and then attempt to play it!!!
http://www.ossbmxracing.co.uk/Reports/08NationalHartlepool/Bof-Final-HD.mp4
Enjoy!!!
PS. This is the first time I have converted a HD Video. LMK if you have any problems and I'll try and sort it out.
-
Moleskin any chance of burning them to disk for me there is no way my steam powered pc and broadband will handle the size of those HD files :D
-
Burning the files to disk wont help your lack of PC power!!!
It would just be the same as downloading the files.
Just right-click them and 'Save As' to download to your PC.
On 8 GB Broadband I downloaded both files in less than 10 minutes.
The 1st one is in DVD quality type format (720x480) and shouldn't be too hard to run. Even my crappy 'works' PC can play that file with no problems whatsoever.
The 2nd is more than 4 times the resolution (1920x1080) and needs a bit of CPU crunching. It runs in Quicktime and vlc media player. It might run in other stuff but I'm new to this so I dont know!!!
My crappy 'works' PC can play the HD version. It is a bit jerky but is still watchable (just)
Just download them first and see if they run. You might need to download quicktime or VLC media player to play the HD version though.
I will be doing a DVD disk version and I might be do some internet friendly versions in various resolutions too but I only figured out how to convert the HD last night so it might take some time.
I will stick them up on my website when I get them converted.
I filmed all of the last set of motos and all of the finals. I missed all of your earlier motos due to a severe hangover cause by Bren making me drink alcohol till 1:30am.
Is there any way to find out the order of the races as I want to split my Large video files containing mulitple races to individual race files and then convert them. It would really help me to label the races correctly?

Cheers Andy. 600 mile round trip (about £120 in diesel + £140 for hotel) to come dead last at a national :LolLolLolLol: Mind you, that's nothing compared to Dave Herman and the Cornwall crew (900 miles for those guys!).
Glad I made the trip up though cos the track was really nice to ride and race on. Pity I couldn't make it down the White Horse on Saturday night to party with Russ and the Gold Coast party animals.
Maybe we should make the Saturday before Preston a big night out in Blackpool? >:D

Very good by all accounts. I would've loved to have gone to MK, but I'm going to America the day after, so am going to Bournemouth regional instead.
Get yourself an old school bike, head to MK and race it.
