Title: Removing powder coat help please!

Can someone tell me where to get some gasket remover from to remove powder coat please or can they send me some please, obviously i will pay for it. there was a place that sold it in Derby, but they dont stock it any more :( . I only need enough to do a stem, one tin.

Same here but the seller doesn't seem to list it anymore ... postal regs perhaps  ???

find your local motor factor. e.g. the type of place that sells to the trades, but you can also get stuff from.

they should stock it. my local place didn't have in stock but could order it. hence why I just got it from ebay.

paint stripper and put in a bag so its coverd up
worked on my frame i just did
poured 2 gallon into a giant windscreen bag
then made sure it was all coverd then sealed it up for a few hours
then jetwashed it off

I took mine to a place in Dunham Massey that strips old furniture and doors etc. It was left in some kind of bath for a few hours and came out squeeky clean. I wouldn't recommend blasting if your going to chrome plate the frame though as the finish isn't perfectly smooth like bare metal.
