Title: Truing Wheels
Post by: Longun on July 08, 2008, 11:33 PM
Any recommendations for someone/a shop in the London area to true up some wheels I've just built. They're not far off, but I'm not best at getting the perfectly true, proper tension bit especially without a truing stand.

if you want to do them yourself Steve just use your bike upsidedown, bang the wheel in the forks and use the fork to true them off??

I can do them for you, although if you want a perfect, perfect job then I'm not your man I'm afraid. you're welcome to borrow my trueing stand if you like?

Well I ended up having a go last night and I'm pretty happy with the results, no more that 1mm movement in any direction. Reckon they'll do now.
