Title: Joe Kid @ Southsea? Still worth it?
Post by: DJ on January 09, 2006, 06:37 PM
So, I got my copy of Joe Kid today (finally) & was wondering if it were still worth arranging the screening at Southsea or not as most people have it & have watched it umpteen times already.
If I do it in January it will have to be on a Sunday evening or wait until Febuary which just doesnt seem worth it by then. Sunday 22nd would be perfick, if enough peeps are still up for it I'll consult the powers that be 7 try & arrange quick sharpish....

Right thats it, I give up! I know most peeps have seen the movie but thought it'd be a good gathering anyway, ride the park in the afternnon then sit down watch the slide show then watch the flick, do the man handshake thing & part ways after a good day BUT as it is Portsmouth City Council things can never be simple & it now appears I have to have insurance to do the screening (which I obviously dont have) so Horlicks to it, I give up!!
I will attempt to do the slide show sometime in the near future  though, maybe at NASS?
Thanks for you're interest.
