Title: dirtbike decals
Post by: firebird4130 on July 12, 2008, 02:36 PM
I'm trying to find some decals for my dirtbike, not having much luck though, can someone please tell me where I can get scans or originals? or Even close up photos?

Thanks  :daumenhoch:
P.s It's the 90's 1 inch era I'm after

well I wanted these

But I don't think I'm going to find them anywhere in a hurry.
And I don't want the following 2 issues

What else is there?

Cheers

For some reason the other 2 aren't showing up but it's the 2 tone gold ones and the sqiggly ones in either red or blue that I don't want

I do like them but I wanted it to be appropriate for the frame design

Yeah, I kinda thought thats what you were thinking. Have you asked Del if he can do anything from the one photo you have got? he is able to work magic.

I'll try that, I think I could copy most of it 80% accurate, just the skull is distorted too much and I can't see the surround of it

Fraz-

These are the best shots I could get from my 94 Dirtbike. That photo above is one I already took of the headtube. Hope they help!

P.s If I can get these done spot on I will send you a spare set for your bike incase you ever want to respray it or anything

Here's some shots from above since those first ones sort of cut off the tops...

you could try scanning the headtube itself,

do it in the dark and even with the scanner lid open you should still get a rough image to work with,

i'm sure it'd fill in ok with a little work, you'd have the correct sizing for a start,

worth a try :daumenhoch:
