i'm sure they were around in 93/94. black, silver and anno red and blue :)
-
more like 98!
-

i ve always wondered too,,
:-\

im going to agree with about 98 for the powerbites we all know
but im sure primo had some similar cranks before that ( the red and blue ano )
and they are of course a copy of GT so you could grind off the logo to make them look a bit more era correct http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=410720
i think it was around 2003/4 they used the steel threaded insert for the pedal thread

imabout to do a makeover - gt pwerseries stylke - with these - Prolite Pro Stealth cranks... nice and shiny, and also a very flat lightly etched logo to cover, not a deep primo one. ... aprt fomr that , they are identical to my Primo and Fit cranks. These are also amazingly like my Fusion 1992 aloy cranks too.. guess this design has been around and copied for a while!

When you get something made in the far east, its just a question of time till everyone gets access to the tooling. Often the better way is to LET everyone have access, but make them buy into it (eg Pivotal seats)
