Anybody know what rise the Microline bars were? and also the bigger version?
-
Well I still have some for sale and they are 8.5 inches rise, I reckon thats as big as they get.
-
Microline V - smaller
Proline V = bigger
Not a great deal difference in height , it's all about width ! :LolLolLolLol:
-
micros - 23" x 8"
prolines- 26" x 9"
sizes are quoted from bmx buyers guide in the BMXaction magazine October 1982 :daumenhoch:
-
V interesting, that makes mine prolines! good info thanks..

Are they? I thought they were only 8" rise? If they are Prolines, then I'm still intested... :daumenhoch:
Thanks to all, BTW, interesting reading..
Bet you cant guess what they are for, Matt? ;)
-
The Prolines got wider over the years , I've got some 28 inches wide ;)
And in a 1984 PL20 test they list them as 27 and a quarter inches .
Not wanting to confuse anyone ! :LolLolLolLol:
Cool bars whatever size :daumenhoch:
Martin , yes I know why you're sniffin' ;)

Matt, does your 28" set have "redline" etched into them on the right hand side an inch or so under the crossbar?
-
pictures speak a thousand words ;)
first are the micros. the etching is on the L/H side just under the crossbar.

second are the prolines, later to the micros as they have a different font etched an inch or so on the R/H side under the crossbar

and last are the 28" bars but i'm not sure that they are redline as there is no etching. these may well be "procraft".
