and not selling at all! Madness!
Those frames came with and without 990 mounts, and I think they were out in 1992, and sold through till 93 when the mk3 took over. Im not sure if any of them and the single, thick dropouts but I know at least the early ones had the 2-stuck-together dropouts.

He said he'd consider trading me for my 1" threaded 2-Hip Big Boy frame/fork...but it looks like he might have a deal going. :'(
I think that's the earliest S&M I've ever seen with 990's.

You might be right there. Even the mk3 Holmes came with 990s as an option at first, so the mk2s came out about a year before everyone wanted 990s on their frame. It be good to know the frame number of it, to try and get an idea of age.

ive seen your big boy there, wish i could afford to buy another(i USED to have one, black with supernatural fork/stem with juice bars, all sold to a buddy)

As interesting as this frame is, I believe it to have some bad Juju going on. Matt Thomas and I were both trying to buy it from the previous/original owner. A fella from Globalflat. Well, long story short the guy was a douche. To the point where Matt and I both turned our backs on it, the site and the douche. He ended up listing it on ebay 2 times with no luck, and it finally sold when the Sensai bought it. I could have bought it on 4 different occasions. But I can't shake how terrible this guy was. He forever ruined that frame for me. I feel as if it's tainted by his aura. This coming from a guy who'd rather not care about things like "aura". Haha.
I love those Mk2's though...

Its not turning out bad at all (with no small thanks to General Lee). Esp considering that the frame and forks worked out to be free, after to selling the few parts they came with on ebay.
Gotta love collecting S&Ms :daumenhoch:
