Title: What Kuwahara is this?
Post by: 20to26 on July 21, 2008, 07:49 AM
My brother and I both recall this as a Lazerlite from '84. As you can see it's blue with gold trimmings. As we were living in South Africa at the time it may have been a limited edition. I've never seen another one like it - not then, not since. If anybody knows for sure what model it is that will be great to know, cos it's my next build. So I'll be after a structurally sound frame & fork that's in poor cosmetic condition to build a replica :)

thats a nova.

i bought one in the exact same colourway out of LOOT ( pikey free sales paper in the Uk) in 1990...bikes from 84/85 i think in that colour.

gave 35 quid for it...used it for a bit and then sold it for 50 quid...to buy a mongoose villain :uglystupid2:

seats been changed from a elina ul to that aero type, but other than that it looks stock.

Nice 2nd generation Non Looptail Nova or Super Nova as it was also called by the look of it. Not so easy to get hold of as the 1983 Looptail Nova. I know where theres one of those Frame and Forks not sure he will sell it though :LolLolLolLol:
