Not for a while, but when I do, magnesium platforms will hurt a lot less than those Crupi bear traps I just sold to 796.

Very true mate, but they all hurt - I can show you the scars from my Mag V12's!!

Oh yeah, I know they hurt.  I still have scars from the 80s when I slipped my MKS Footjaws all the time.

But pains temporary, glory's forever, it goes away in a week and chicks dig scars.

I'd rather bash my shins on the pedals than my knees on the deck, and the Kyle Strait pads are just so much comfier and give better knee protection than the Dainese and Race Face pads I've had.

unfortunately i have more calves than most have thighs so i always end up catching them so i wont race without...  funny though im so reluctant to put them on when riding the MTB's dont think anything about throwing myself down a hill in hardly any clothes and a helmet that only saves the top and back of your head...  BMX i look like an american footballer!!!  but im glad for everything i wear - i come off a couple of times and the dainese upper body suit is brilliant, would recommend it to anyone...

Too many times this year ive seen people come off and then next race they have the protection.... horse and bolted....

Cheers chaps, a bit of food for thought there. Just had a look at the race face ones on chainreaction. They do the FR ones and DH ones, any ideas which ones might be the best?  :-\

The Downhill ones dont allow you to as pedal much as the Freeride ones.  I have the freeride ones.

frightened  :-[  :LolLolLolLol: didnt get the practise and not confident about how they were gonna thro me once i committed to them, proper launch pad that take off on them leeds doubles plus the fact the landing was quite short n steep and im crap at getting my nose down, mind you jumping n failing has got to be less painfull than slamming into them, like i did so well :2funny:

the pads are big but you dont feel them and they work :daumenhoch:
