Title: GT Power Series crank makeover!
Post by: generallee on July 23, 2008, 12:58 PM: Check this out - great for a mid school build, if youre not too worried about the threaded pedal insert or left hand drive chainring bolt hole.. which im not...

GT made the Power Series cranks way back, Fusion also made their own version... then roll on a few years and Primo brings out the Powerbite... then FitBikeCo do a version, then various other companies.... and Prolite [from cyclesport] do this mirror polish crankset... looks very similar to the
PowerSeries, more so in fact than the powerbites due to the slight different shapes in the arm contours etc...

Del the decal master made decals up for me from my measurements and design... aiming to obscure the prolite logo whcih is lightly etched into the arm [much better to cover over than a deeply etced carved out primo logo]

Post by: generallee on August 20, 2008, 01:06 PM: these cranks in my opinion look far nicer than the powerbites - just so sturdy and the mirror finish is awesome! I think your elooking at only about 70 to 80 quid a set - which is superb!
