Title: Any ideas what frame this is - mid/new school?

Picked this up a while ago, no idea why tbh. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Looks chrome in the pics but it's aluminium.

Ive looked on BMX Museum, you could be onto something with the Schwinn. There are some very similar looking frames but I cant see one indentical with the same dropouts and also in aluminum.

I dont think it's a cheapo catalogue frame...

a race frame by the looks.... ??

I think HEYWOOD BMX has it pegged...

other than the drop outs... this looks pretty much like yours???
