Ok, I'm a complete novice but what brakes do I need on the front of a 99 GT Performer? U, V, which one's which as neither looks like a U or a V, centerpull? sidepull?
I'm proper confused, what ever happen to the plain old diacompe caliper??
-
get a U brake on there
if the lugs arent there, get a U Brake plate.
-
Ah U-brake, ta any ideas what work well? which one I should get?
-
primo, odyssey, diacompe, fly any of which will work exellentlly
-
cant go wrong with a dia compe hombre
or any dia compe 990.
-
fly brakes are said to be the best you will get for £50 you should expect it too .. if your not willing to pay that and want a cheapo brake the diacompes are as good as oddyssey and primo's but for half the price... plus you get a brand with a long herritage of good brakes

Thanks guys, I think I'll go for the Dia Compe, I always used them bitd and they were very good then.
