Post by: jody on August 03, 2008, 05:13 PM
Hi,
How durable would you say the LAF frame is.Would it be classed as a all purpose frame street, vert ect  :daumenhoch:

Thank you, Quad Father

great all-rounder,

alot tougher than you'd think :daumenhoch:

good all round frame but strength depends on how much u weigh and if you have a heavy riding style, i had my laf for 6 months and i ended up basicly denting the downtube so bad that it actually kinked the tube and the frame was scrap, so now i ride a black bike and it seems to stand up to the abuse better, i was tempted to buy a ltf when they came out but i know ill kill it :'(

What did you do to the tube to cause such an impact on it?  bail the bike from a height?

360 over a spine and i bailed and the bike fell straight onto the top of the spine on the downtube quite hard

Thanks. Also around that time I was bombing down the busy high street posing with high volume of alcohol, I ended up hitting the curb, flying into the air landing on my fore head with people around me  :Aresehole: luckily I walked away alive  :uglystupid2:
