Just pulled this off of the official Olympics website, The schedule for the BMX Racing. It will interesting to see if the BBC cover any of this ???
Beijing is 7 hours ahead of the UK, so this is gonna be middle of the night viewing,....hmm !!

The bbc love snobs sports :(We will be lucky if they show any of the bmx if there was a royal riding in it.It would be on every fooking channel >:(

I think we all might be pleasantly surprised with this. New Olympic sport, the 'younger audience' angle and a potential medal winner with Speedy Reedy - I reckon there will be plenty of noise made about it.
Wait 'til closer to the time - say the start of next week - and it will start popping into the daily commentary.

'Bmx biking' mentioned four times already this morning - especially after the Womens Road Race - GOLD! - the words 'World Champion' also mentioned.... and Shanaze featured on the mutiscreens on BBCi Player....
It's hottin' up already!

Ive seen an advert on TV featuring Shanaze on track, it was for a big name brand but can't remember which one, or whwther it was on sky or mainstream ::)

Eurosport only have the finals on Thursday - they have the whole lot on Weds.
Looks like I'll have to record the whole blooming lot on BBC for Thursday!

Anyone see the BMX Racing ??
Had to go on the BBC Website and check the action, not a great deal there, but did see Shanaze's crash in the first time trial, that first berm looks a bit slippy...??? There were at least 3 other major stacks in the mens racing on the exact same spot..!!
Anyway, Shanaze got through in the time trial, placed 2nd in the seedings, Semi's are in the morning, so should be good to go in the final for her ! :daumenhoch:

The Men's BMXing was dominated by Latvian Maris Stombergs, with the fastest time, but the yank Mike Day looks good too ! Our boy Liam Phillips is out, though ! :(

yep got up at 2 am and sat there for 20 minutes and then my favorite friend 80`s throw back fat lesbian said it was off due to rain . back to bed and same again tommorrow morning , i haven`t got sky so don`t ask

seems like Freeview 2 and Sky/Cable 5 have coverage from 1.50am till 6am, although Sky/Cable 5 has 30 minutes more coverage. Both through the Red button.
