Title: frame ID help please

bought this 24" frame to restore and build up into a bike, but i have no idea what it is or how old it is. the serial number on the bottom bracket is AS7121292.

any help or idea's would be greatly appriciated.

With that gusset under the front I'm guessin it's fairly new. I have a merida 24 with the same gusset. I got it NOS last year but it's around 4 years old.

here's one of the whole frame. i dont think its that old, early to mid 90's i reckon.
