Its pretty comon knowledge thats its fun to collect mid school stuff as its still fairly easy to find certain parts - but ther seem to be some parts that have simply disappeared. Parts that were 10 to the dozen in the 90's that you cant find for love nor money.
I'll start -
Amberwall GT MAGABITE tyres. amazing tread, fat front, skinny rear, Ritchey then did the Ritchey Megabite mtb tyre which became the Ritchey Z Max.
Anyone have any gt megabites? Ive been on the lookout for years!
anyone else care to mention any impossible to find mid school parts?

I've got a NOS Ritchey Z Max skinwall tyre......Now if I can be so lucky as to finding another then I'd be a happy chappy.
I've also got a set of Skinwall GT Megabite tyres too! Fat and skinny and still loads of tread on them (I bought them new when they first came out - Only downside is the dryrot that has set into the sidewalls).
-
ive just got a set of chrome sun chinooks with gt sealed hubs for £40 when they guy brought them round he said "oh ive left the tyres on for ya" a really good fatty thin set of gt megabites :daumenhoch: not fussed on runnin a fatty tho ::)

You should know. Those forks are pushing ten years old. And yes! They are a bmx fork. Compaired to todays carbon fibre forks you could call them dinosaurs. I would never use them on one of my race bikes. But id love to have one as an old collectable.
-
best thing ever made in the 90s king axle washers combo.
these are definitely survivors ice picked every wall in stoke on that rear axle and look how straight it is
