lovely little thing , but is it genuine and as rare as he s saying it is?

im no SE expert as to how rare this is
and i know this will sound odd

but going by the pix some of the welds look suspect
spesh the left side of the brake bridge
and the chain stay to the wishbone/ beebee shell

dont get me wrong im not sayin its been rewelded
but the lack of continuity in the quality of the weld
has made my sherlock nerve twitch :coolsmiley:

Looks nice.
Been re powdered. So hard to tell how good the frame is underneath.

I'd say the factory rider statement is pure speculation.

Not sure on the welding, but it is quite a rare thing, DB IV (DB = Derek Brown) :daumenhoch:
