Title: Old school brakes
Post by: adam68 on August 21, 2008, 07:41 PM: Can anyone help. The breakes on my skyway street beat are crap!!! :-[
There diacomp MX with repro tuff pads on tuff 2s.
They seam to be set up ok.
Is there any better breaks i can use or any other pads anyone has tryed??????????

Post by: Swivel on August 21, 2008, 07:43 PM: Try some light sandpaper on the tuf pads to wear them down a bit, and re-check everything again. Should be ok? ??? :)

As in a pedal back brake, you can normally find em on the bay.

I tried to fit an ACS Freecoaster device to it but ot doesn't fit the New School Tuffs!!

I will test ride it tomorrow!!

Knowing my luck, I'm expecting to fly over the handlebars at some point!! :buck2:
