Title: Old school brakes

Can anyone help. The breakes on my skyway street beat are crap!!! :-[
There diacomp MX with repro tuff pads on tuff 2s.
They seam to be set up ok.
Is there any better breaks i can use or any other pads anyone has tryed??????????

Try some light sandpaper on the tuf pads to wear them down a bit, and re-check everything again. Should be ok?  ??? :)

Old school brakes were never that good! just we were all 5 stone lighter in the 80's  ;D ;D

28 years and ive still not managed to find brakes that stop me, perhaps a coaster brake for ya skyways fella :LolLolLolLol:

Maybe not quite 9 stone but was a lot smaller then.

As in a pedal back brake,  you can normally find em on the bay.

I have just put some on my Quad Freestyler!!

I tried to fit an ACS Freecoaster device to it but ot doesn't fit the New School Tuffs!!

I will test ride it tomorrow!!

Knowing my luck, I'm expecting to fly over the handlebars at some point!!  :buck2:

I'm not hitting the ramps with it!!  :shocked:

Just for Back hops and practice some kick turns.

If I go over the bars once then I'm ditching it!!  :daumenhoch:

Ive seen them on the bay too, but maybe i wont try one of those then!!!!!!!
I can remember the last time i hit concrete with head, not one of my best past times! :-\
