thanks jai well happy matey built up and looking good
for those who dont know what this is its se racing basher made by murray for se in 1981 and was nos in the box unbuilt till today
parts rundown
se basher frame and landing gear foks
race inc alloy bars
sugino maxi cross crankset
kkt pedals
dia compe brakeset with pre bent levers
elina seat (looks same as lightening bolt but no decal )must pre date the lighteninhg decal one)
unbranded seat clamp and post
ukai 7x style rims laced to acs hubs
carlisle aggressor tyres fat and thinny combination
original leather type presstud se racing padset
oakley.5 grips
forgotten what stem is till i have another look

think thats it
by the way do the levers fit like this as moved em couple times and they feel wrong wherever i put em lol

theres also one chrome crank dust cap missing stamped sugino if anyone has spare one

Nice one Greg, it must have killed you being over the pond with it sat at home waiting to be built. Now promise me you wont ride it proper nos bikes are few and far between  :)

an interesting one this - the Basher was low low down on the SE league of bikes, the frame and fork sessentially crud, but just LOOK at those parts! For what you can pick these things up for, youre getting top notch Race Inc bars, Ukai wheels, studded SE original padset FFsake!
Those forks by the way arent actual landing gears, they are fairly crude  LG lokalikes made by murray that SE had them do to keep costs down - just the same as the forks that came on the Bronco etc... they also had these made overseas by Lung I.
If anyone ever wants to build a bike with NOS gold parts - then itll be cheaper to but one of these, sell the f&f, and keep the bits!

YEP WILL BE KEEPING IT .WAS GONNA DO THE WINTER SERIES ON IT BUT THE BARS ARE CRAP LOL

ill give you shout next week del needs new decals on the forks they are bit shot .will have to bring bike over to ya though they are different to normal landing gear ones

I know they are built to be ridden but we all have other used stuff to ride.

old bald one is right greg, split it up and with the money buy a old robinson or something, you know it makes sense  ;)

kept moving levers as didnt know where they went and the brake is crap with these levers however i fitted em lol
