Wow that looks like a nice piece of kit, thanks for posting it :daumenhoch:
-
Your welcome! I can't be the only one here with an XLR8R. :(
-
fook me thats uglier than my ex-wife :daumenhoch:
-
What's so ugly about it? :tickedoff:
-
Well she had a big nose, her teeth were bad and she was a little over weight ::)
Oh, the redline? I thought you meant DSDs ex-wife >:D :2funny:

no shit dude,
a face a dog wouldnt lick :daumenhoch:
its that e-fooking-normous gusset with all the tribal bollocks on it that makes my eyes bleed,
the square stays dont help it either,
dont get me wrong its a right enough bike! :4_17_5:
the design just lacks "finesse" :LolLolLolLol:
-
:) That`s kinda nice,in an ugly, sick, twisted, perverted sort of way.Gusset seems to be from Sister Wendys knickers....
-

Joe, Are you talking about your ex-wife again or the Redline :LolLolLolLol:
-
Interesting bike, you don't see many of those about. I can't remember ever seeing one over here. What year would that be from?
:)
-
It's a 1999. I was told they were very expensive and pretty hard to find.
-
I put a real nice period correct wheel set on it today... They are red high flange crupi hubs on chrome rhyno lites with ti spokes and red nipples. New pictures soon.
-
Interesting/rare frame, but not one of Redline's best looking frames. But it's from an era when companies were experimenting with different things (as well as different drugs if some of the designs are anything to go by) like the Haro/Mountain Cycle Monocoques, GT Box Series, Jad, Herrington Crusader, TNT Hwa Fong Daddy, etc
-
:) Just looking at Ride UK Oct 2000,Winstanleys had the framesets for £300.

Can you post a link to that? Thanks

Didnt they come with triple clamp forks as standard? the "normal" forks were an optional extra
The Odyssey/redline team rode those, Liam Batey had one when he was on the tean I think?
:) DINGO :)

My local bikeshop had one in about 2000,didn`t have triple clamp forks though...think one of the natives still has it.

I think Hanebrink made some triple crown BMX forks around this time but not sure they came as standard on the Redlines. Another wack product that thankfully never took off.
-
Is Hanebrink the loony who used to make those GPV/full fairing downhill bikes?
-
was some 20" hanebrink forks on ebay a couple of months ago $400, i like em, on the right bike :daumenhoch:
