My Brand new helmet arrived today and that was what I recieved!! :(
I now have to pay for postage to send it back and then hopefully they will send me a New replacement and pay for postage!!
My guess is that its going to be a long drawn out affair and I'll end up out of pocket!!

did you postman kick that phucker all the way to your house :wtf:
-
moley,tell the truth.you've worn that once! :) :) :)

As Ace Ventura would say 'it went Downtown!!!' :LolLolLolLol:
It arrived with 2 tires.
I opened it up and it had a pair of muddy Azonic gloves in it. Which I have given to Creamy to use!! I hope he washes them!!
The helmet was obviously returned and the returns department didn't check it (or they decided to try and palm it off on someone) and then they sent it out to me.
ChainReactionCycles is the shop in question!!
Good eh!!
I did try the helmet on to make sure it fits. I just hope it hasn't given me nits!! :LolLolLolLol:
-
surely thats a mistake
can't imagine chain reaction doing something like that, that helmet design is ancient
-
Its a Full Bravo 2005 that they were selling off!!
Its all Generallee's fault.
He posted a thread about helmets in the racing section.

Thanks Steve!!! :LolLolLolLol:

I reckon a staff member or canny customer has done a swap - we used to do that at Alpine Sports with the Vans :-X

there is no way Chainreaction sent it out like that! i've bought shed loads from them (as have most people at some point) and NEVER had a single problem with anything they sent me.
have you spoken to them and sent them pictures? cos i think your postman's had a bit of fun there
-
agree CRC are normally brilliant - make sure they dont charge you for th erefund service, that is the only thing that i dont like about the company - they state that because it is so cheap they have to charge you £4 to return anything... even if its their fault - but that moley is seriously taking the piss...
take the paddys to the cleaner.

They don't charge you if it's their error, they tried that with me when a pair of gloves I ordered were not stitched on one side I pointed out if they do that they are in breach of the sale of goods act as it is a violation of your base consumer rights, hey presto no handling charge :daumenhoch:. I also think under the distance selling act they can't do it either as you have no opportunity to see the goods before you pay for them. Call Trading Standards if they do :LolLolLolLol:.

I'm sure they will sort it out for you moley, i have had stuff replaced without even sending the items back to them.

The packing doesn't look like it was tampered with.
The usually black plastic bin liner stuff wrapped around the product. It also had 2 tires in it as well!!
I've sent them an email along with the pictures. And I have 2 eye witnesses to the package being opened.
I dont mind so long as its sorted!!
It could take some time though! :(
-
have you spoken to them? i only ever had to return one thing to them because i ordered the wrong size......i sent it back no problem and they sent the other size right away..........i would follow up the email with a phone call!
-
I must admit, I was drawn here by the title as I saw helmet and arse in close proximity.
Very shabby service. Send the boys round
