Just looking at her again, you sure its a standard long?? mine had teardrop tubing? be worth Emailing Jim Melton and giving him the serial number and he'll give you chapter and verse on it.
You can find him on ebay selling sticker sets and certificates for his frames. (or i have his details if you want to cold call)

Really nice that. Never paid much attention to JMC when I was a kid cos I was too into SE and Skyway (and no shops in my area sold JMC or GT).
What's the longest TT frame that JMC ever made?

Andy Patterson i would say - couldnt tell you the TT - think the DY is longer than the standard long but not much.

Loving those wheels.
I have a set of those to go on the Robbo when she's retired and re restored over the winter.

Frame is 1000% Standard Long 19.5" in corkin' chrome kids!
Jmc minis, x l's, standard shorts 17.5", shadows 18.5", standard longs/ DY's/ AP's all 19.5"tt..... Andy Patterson is the longest Jmc bike due to its unique longer rear triangle..
The finest Californian cro-mo race bikes ever made....... word!

Just received this email from the man himself.....
Hi Russ,
84352 is indeed a 1984 chrome long JMC Standard with an American bottom bracket. We shipped it to Hogerheijde of Holland May 24, 1984. I have the correct sticker sets for it in red, white, blue or black. I have the correct pad set in black or blue only. Thanks for your interest and may God bless you.

Lovin that JMC I rode one in 86' a Daryl Young in chrome and the Daryl young bars. I loved the bars so much I kept them still got them on my Zeronine but I forgot how sweet the seat clamp was and the front end on her was nice and steap. Nice restor makes me wana strip mine down this winter me thinks :-\
