how can i remove paint from skyways easily?
can i soak them in bleach for a couple of weeks? will that remove the paint?
i know brake fluid can remove paint from plastic (modellers trick)
but will bleach if left long enough?
-
Bleach won't touch the paint I'm afraid ... have you tried a test spot with normal paint stripper ???
-
steam cleaner on full heat would work
but be carefull as tuffs will go all bendy lol
-
if its not 2 pack paint then thinners should bring it off, rather you than me though, very messy!
-
Paint stripper, can anyone back me up on that? i remember reading a post from a skyway employee years ago that it wouldn't harm them ???
-
i thought maybe paint stripper would melt the plastic but if anyone can confirm for me
-
Bead balsting perhaps? Wil remove all those "braking marks" too.
Just an idea?

Would that be Bead blasting then with a small media? :LolLolLolLol:

If its aerosol paint, paint stripper should have it off in seconds.
Do small patches at a time, rather than dunking it in.
Use a non metallic scraper to help shift it too.
Skyways are quite tuff (pun)
