It seems as ive been looking for NOS parts that they are running out. Even the aero reflex frames have just about disappeared-mind u thats prob to do with the build off later this year! Do u guys think over the next few years that 80's new stock will run out and then waht is left wil be super expensive??? Im on with building two bikes and im makin myself skint by buying too much at once in a frenzy for fear of not being able to get hold of it at a later date!
-
next few years, i reckon it can't be far off now
-
:) It`ll happen.5-6 years ago it seemed there was loads of NOS around,a lot was cheap as chips. It`s inevitable, but I reckon someone will discover a warehouse full of NOS bits...
-
Most of them are in the loft :LolLolLolLol:
-
as long as its as good as nos and only fitted to a show bike, you will always be able to get want you want, people are always changing there minds on there colour schemes... :daumenhoch:
-
to be fair its already expensive. i can remember back in 2000 mx 1000's 25 quid.

I think certain parts are drying up like blue hatta headsets Grrrrrrrrrrrr!
Moving forwards it is only going to get more expensive as parts get more rare prices will rise,Currently doing my first build and it is pretty frustrating to
have to wait 9 weeks or so just for a blue dc hinged clamp (cheers the styler) :daumenhoch:).

NO,they are not running out!!!!! however it depends on the context, the bike shops may be drying up however.......................they r in private collections but not running out, if the price is right the collector will sell

What about all the NOS parts that are bought and are fitted to bikes which are then ridden - they are no longer NOS so that particular part will be in shorter supply.

hopefully the credit crunch will drop prices a little or at least we will see more available on ebay anyways.
-
so a new bike is never new unless it comes in bits?
i hope this doesn't become law and count for cars. :D

They ran out a long time ago
