Title: New school forks brake boss issue
Post by: JT71 on September 14, 2008, 07:29 PM
okay folks, Martin (2020mad) came round today as he was having probs with his headset.

sort of sorted that, then came fititng his ody evolver on the brake bosses.

it won't fit. the brake arms won't push onto the bush, the hole is too small, a hombre fits fine.

how can this be, aren't all u brakes standard?

As Dan says, they are all standard sizes.  But its not uncommon to have to clean everything up with emery paper or similar to achieve a nice fit.
