Nice Holmes. Great parts compliment. I run the V-Traks on my Holmes, myself. You should turn that front one backwards for true mid-school effect. ;)
-
Nice Rob :daumenhoch:
want some of those tyres!!!
-
Great bike :daumenhoch: Looks almost identical to the 1" mk 3 version Holmes

Thats really nice. Almost refreshing to see an Oversized Holmes. It will "work" so much better than any of that 1" crap! ;D
Has DSD seen it? He has been lookin for one of those frames for ages!
-
very nice :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch: ive always wanted a chrome 1/18th holmes but cant face chroming my red one, u wanna swap it for ur old dirtbike frame? :LolLolLolLol:
-
thats well nice, i want your seat and padset badly!

nice that mate! i've got that stem in polished if you want to continue its shiny theme! needs cleaning up though
-
if hes not intereted in the stem i might be mate!
-
glad to see the forks go to that bike, it's cool silly long back end tho to todays frames.
-
niiice :D

I have just got hold of this frame, and some minty GT profiles. I can't decide whether to put forks with lugs and a front brake on it or do it as a race/trails machine.
It's going to be mostly chrome colourwise. Going with early Holmes (cockerel) decals too as I just like them.
-
Ben if you are gonna sell them forks then talk to me dude :coolsmiley:
also good luck in finding some cockereal decals for the bike, i've been looking for the past 2 years for me mk1 Holmes and still not got the full set :-\
-
I haven't got the forks mate. I know where there's some cheap inch and an eighth pitchforks though if that's what you need...
Im confident of getting the decals sorted via a complex web of accomplices, infiltration, code-breaking and subterfuge. Watch this space.
-
i find the subterfuge part very interesting :chin:
can i just say thanks ben, :yahoo_silent: , gona have to spend the weekend in the loft digging that album out now :LolLolLolLol:

I almost forgot I had it, lent it to a local bike shop to hang up after building it got it back two weeks ago was gonna part it out but it's too nice :smitten:
And I can't be arsed with the hassle :LolLolLolLol:
-
Thats actually way nicer than the usual 1" frames,
bit of a predictable build but so lovely in that 1"-1/8th headtube,
1" Holmes are 10 a penny these days tbh,
-
Glad u have started work on it Ben, and glad it has a good home
I forgot I had them bars and stem until I saw rarman's pics
Looking forward to seeing it done
Just got to get rid of the other bits now
-
Yeah i took the stickers off and polished up the frame.
Just a few more bits to get hold of then i can build.
Cheers Jim. :4_17_5:
